2009-2010 Spelling Lists

This year grade we'll use Scott Foresman Reading Street for Language Arts.  Second grade spelling lists will be different from previous years.  Listed below are the tentative lists; sometimes words from content areas are added.

Spelling City has online games for spelling practice.  Another teacher has entered the second grade Scott Foresman spelling lists.  Look for the title of the story we are currently reading.

We pretest on Thursdays for the following week.
Each week 10 - 12 words are tested.
