What is tonight's homework?
Each child has a BLUE folder designated as the homework folder. On Mondays a new homework sheet is added to the back of the folder. Please do not remove this sheet; when the folder becomes heavy, we remove them and store them in a folder in school until June.
In September the homework is typed for the child/family. As the year progresses, children are asked to fill-in the assignment in the designated spot. Spelling words are typed on the homework sheet all year. Students are assigned 15-20 minutes of reading nightly. Title/Author information needs to be written on the back daily by the student.
Home/School communication:
A daily e-mail will be sent home to interested families who provide an e-mail address. Parents who choose NOT to receive the daily e-mail may, upon request receive periodic copies of those e-mails to keep themselves updated. E-mails from early in the year are posted here. Now that the whole school uses the Wednesday folders, important information is sent home that way. If you at any time, need information please let me know.
