Dear Friends,

Thank you for letting Flat ___________ from Miss Miller's Second Grade Class at St. Thomas the Apostle School in Delmar, New York visit you. We have 24 children in our class.

In the original Flat Stanley book written by Jeff Brown, Stanley Lambchop is squashed flat by a falling bulletin board. One advantage of being flat is that his parents can mail him to visit friends in California.

We are hoping that you will keep this flat person for no more than two weeks and write about the adventures you have in the journal. You don't need to fill all of the pages of the journal - we just wanted to include whatever you might need. A postcard, photograph or other souvenir would be very welcome.
