Greetings Future Second Grade Families!

J This red folder is an example of the 3-prong folders needed for second grade in September. I strongly recommend that you purchase POLY folders rather than paper ones like this one. The POLY folders cost more, but will last an entire school year. (You really don't want the 10 for $1.00 kind.) The YELLOW and BLUE folders will travel back and forth from home to school either weekly or daily so STRONG is really necessary. In addition to this RED folder second graders will need a YELLOW, BLUE and one other color of your choice. (I know it sounds like a lot but everything has a place!!)

J Are you traveling this summer? Maybe your child would like to mail a postcard to school for our class to read in September! (Just be sure to address it to Second grade.) For Social Studies we learn about communities and will be a part of a postcard exchange.
