The season of Advent begins on Sunday, November 30, 2014. Advent begins on the fourth Sunday before Christmas Day. It is a time to prepare our hearts and our lives for the Christ child. I hope you join us in this great celebration!

The liturgical year begins with Advent, a word derived from the Latin word adventus which means "coming" or "arrival." During Advent we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ, and we look forward to Christ's second coming at the end of time.
